The Opportunity
The Norman Spirit is a 163m long vehicle and passenger ferry which operates on the Dover - Boulogne  route. She can carry 1,850 passengers along with 700 cars and 110 lorries. She makes up to four channel crossings per day (1hr 45m duration).

There are a number advertising locations available on board from small A4 displays to large posters and light-boxes. A range of sites to suit all products and budgets.

The passenger profile is about 80% British with the remainder being mostly French.

The route is used regularly by many British second home owners visiting their French properties who use the service throughout the year, as well as British holiday makers during the traditional holiday periods.

The vessel has a restaurant, shop, pub, small casino, gaming machines, coffee shop and a bar in the Horizon lounge. Passengers move around the vessel between these locations during the crossing.

Posters
The Norman Spirit has a wide variety of light-boxes and posters ranging in dimensions from a large poster in the pub, measuring 2.3 x 1.2 m, or a lightbox close to the reception box, at 1.9 x 1.5m, to small A4 posters.

Packages
In addition to individual poster locations there are:

Stairwell package: 16 sites for A2 posters in the three
stairwells. These are seen by almost all passengers as
they enter and leave the ferry.

Lifts package: 6 A2 poster sites in the 3 lifts, seen by
those passengers who don’t take the stairs from the car decks,
and others during the crossing.

In addition to the poster locations leaflet distribution is available.
